There are many places to dine out, both in and around Wemore. We are spoilt for choice with many traditional pubs and inns alongside exquisite restaurants and tearooms all offering fresh, home made cuisine.
Cheddar, just 2 miles away, is home to wonderful Indian, Thai and Chinese restaurants, all with a take away service. Cheddar also has a several traditional fish and chip restaurants, and fast food bars.
The Riverside Inn (Cheddar) is a good choice for food, drink and live entertainment.

is situated in Cheddar (just 2 miles). Traditional English pub with good home made food.

The Cheddar Valley is fampus for its strawberries, and these are available throughout the summer, though June is best, at roadside vendors and pick your own venues.
Cheddar is the birthplace of the cheese of the same name, and you can sample the only Cheddar from Cheddar at the Gorge Cheese Company.
Within a couple of miles are several cider farms where you can sample the product and find out about the production. September to Early November is the time to see the presses in action.
